Share of FLINTA* on festival stages

With festival season in full swing, we’re taking a closer look at the current festival landscape. In our study from last year, we examined – among other things – the gender distribution at German festivals.

According to a current analysis of 15 festivals, FLINTA* are increasingly more represented on German festival stages. Melt Festival had the highest proportion of FLINTA* (44%).

On 9 of 15 festivals stages more than 70% of the performers are men.
