The Keychange Pledge report shows that most signatories met the 50% gender balance target in 2023 and 2024, while 2025 saw fewer due to a new option to report partial success. The findings are based on annual surveys submitted after each event or reporting period.

In light of the upcoming Brit Awards (28.02), let's take a closer look at this year's nominations: There has been consternation in previous years at how male-dominated the Brit awards could be, including as recently as 2023 when all the artist of the year nominees were men. But this year, 70% of nominees are female or non-binary, or mixed-gender groups.

According to 2025 TIDE data, 84% of respondents said their organisation had a DEI strategy in place. Similarly, our research shows that 89% of leaders report having some form of DEI strategy in place (to varying degrees).
