Mai Hiura
Mai is a cultural entrepreneur, experience designer, and DJ working at the intersection of music, community, and urban culture. With over a decade of experience in events, festivals, and grassroots cultural spaces, she is dedicated to fostering inclusive environments and strengthening local music scenes. She co-leads NowYouKnow, an underground network promoting vibrant nightlife, safer spaces, and underrepresented genres and artists. Alongside her DJ practice, she works across project leadership, booking, and community building, creating platforms that amplify emerging voices. Her work is driven by collaboration, care, and a strong belief in culture as a tool for connection and change.
