Dorotėja Būdaitė
I am an event manager, founder of JJA Music, and producer of Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble. Through JJA Music, I support the independent music sector, advocating for fairer opportunities and greater inclusivity. As chairperson of the Lithuanian Jazz Union, I work to strengthen the jazz community and develop export opportunities. Over the years, I’ve seen both the bright and dark sides of the industry, which drives my focus on mental health, advocacy, and funding solutions. With a Master’s in Knowledge Management and Leadership, I blend academic insight with hands-on experience to create meaningful projects.
“Being selected for the Keychange Talent Leadership Programme is both an honor and a responsibility. It’s a chance to connect with like-minded professionals, exchange ideas, and challenge the industry’s status quo. I look forward to gaining new perspectives, developing strategies for a more inclusive and sustainable music sector, and finding tangible solutions to ongoing challenges—from mental health to funding. This programme is an opportunity to grow while contributing to meaningful change”
