Maria Mikhailyk
Ukrainian cultural manager, musician, and community leader based in Lviv. Since 2021, I have led the NGO Local Cultural Support, developing independent music and cultural initiatives that strengthen local ecosystems and promote accessibility, diversity, and solidarity. I curate The Lower Hall at the Puppet Theatre, a chamber venue and official bomb shelter that raised significant support for musicians and the Armed Forces. I also run Make Music Day Lviv, Rozkolyada Festival, and Zriz Project. As an artist, I lead the solo project Richka and facilitate Spivmaisternia, a community singing workshop focused on collective care
“Being selected for Keychange is both an honour and a responsibility. I see this programme as a bridge between Ukraine and Europe. I want to build lasting collaborations, connect international artists with Ukrainian spaces, and bring foreign musicians back to perform, exchange knowledge, and create together. Keychange offers a chance to strengthen leadership skills and networks that help sustain cultural life, solidarity, and artistic dialogue across borders in difficult times.”
