Andy Glydon
Andy Glydon (they/them) is the Executive Director of Music PEI, based on Epekwitik, the traditional and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people. Music PEI is Prince Edward Island’s provincial music industry association, delivering three annual industry events and supporting artists through a slate of funding and professional development programs. Andy is also the founder of LACUNA Events, a queer-centred platform showcasing emerging queer talent and curating protective spaces for artists and audiences. Their work is grounded in un-learning, dismantling, rebuilding, and dreaming and scheming toward more sustainable, inclusive music ecosystems locally and internationally.
“I’ve long admired the work of Keychange and have followed the program since its inception, so it’s an incredible honour to participate. I’m stoked to collaborate, learn, and dream alongside like-minded leaders from around the world. Leadership can be lonely, and I’m grateful to be joining a community that is shaping a future where leadership is rooted in empowerment rather than control, and connection over isolation.”
