Sofia Hussein
Sofia Hussein is a multidisciplinary creative working across music, media, and photography. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of DINYA Magazine, an independent bilingual platform dedicated to in-depth storytelling, visual culture, and amplifying underrepresented voices in the international music scene. With over a decade of experience as a photographer, editor, and artist manager, she combines creative vision with strategic leadership, collaborating with European festivals and cross-border projects. Shaped by her Bulgarian-Somali heritage and international career, Sofia advocates for equity and representation, connecting communities and creating nurturing spaces where emerging talent can be seen, heard, and supported to grow.
