Keys

Keys is the founder of Amplifying Accessibility, an organisation focused on supporting Disabled music industry workers to access careers made accessible to them. She is also an EDM artist and PhD student, studying the experiences of Disabled artists in Wales and the barriers to diversifying representation. As someone with Erbs Palsy and ADHD, Keys feels lucky to have worked with incredible organisations, such as Youth Music, and Anthem, that have shown a Disability is not a measure of our capabilities. Keys hopes to ensure more Disabled people are taught this too.

“To be on this programme is an opportunity to challenge my understanding of leadership and learn new skills that I can implement in my work to create proactive social change. Alongside this, it will be an opportunity for myself, as a Disabled individual, to be accepted for the barriers I face and empowered by others to go above and beyond the expectations set out by societal norms.”
