JOSIN

JOSIN’s music is gauged by its silence, by the nature of its pauses. It is measured by its plotted intensity, not far from electronics waiting to spit its power out. Minimal and organic, it unleashes its loud non-chaotic viscousity, with a hybrid and bipolar melancholy. Her mother is Korean, her father German. Josin was born in Cologne, in the spotlight of two opera singers as parents. German is her mother tongue – the Korean does not follow. As a child, she moved to the South of France. Her tongue then learns the French language and later on takes back its Germanic form when JOSIN ends her studies in Hamburg.
