Clemence Leaute / Cleo T
Cleo T. is a soprano vocalist and pianist creating cinematic music and mixed media performances. Evolving from alternative to neoclassical scene, she has worked with John Parish (PJ Harvey), Alex Somers (Jonsi / Sigur Ros) and collaborated with Robert Wyatt, Adnan Joubran as well as prestigious french writers and poets.
She defines her work as sound and visual poems. Her theatrical background brings her to present singular shows : conversations, interactive performance, immersive stages etc. She is supported by french cultural institutions and collaborates with Foundations, galleries and theaters.
Independant artist, woman and mother in arts, she curates since 2024 Fabrica Femina, a new festival and global initative for Women in arts. As a Fabrica Femina ambassador, she hosts talks, community gathering and group shows across Europe, building a community of artists.
This initiative has already brought together more than 30 artists to perform and work together.
The program is hosted at Studio La Madeleine, her artist house that she dedicated priorly to hosting women residencies and collective projects and set in the rural countryside of Cognac, France.
