Indiegeno Fest, organized by Leave Music since 2014, is an Italian festival where the passion for music merges with the discovery of the artistic and landscape beauties of the Gulf of Patti, in the province of Messina (Sicily).
Indiegeno Fest is an event that promotes music and culture. It is against any form of racial, ethnic, religious, gender discrimination or other attitudes of intolerance. Since the first edition the festival has worked to involve different genders, not only in the lineup but among professionals and volunteers as well. In 2016 we drafted our ethical code for booking agents, artists and managements and published it for the audience too. In 2020 we published our social media netiquette against hate speech. In August 2020 for the seventh edition Indiegeno achieved a 50:50 gender balance in lineup and staff.
