Create the Room is an independent, boutique, artful startup committed to fostering equitable opportunities for early-career and transitioning professionals from underserved creative communities.

Create the Room exists for the storytellers, the songwriters, the visionaries—those whose voices have been sidelined for too long. With a focus on Black, POC, Women, Gender Expansive, LGBTQIA+, and disabled creatives, CTR is dedicated to amplifying both visibility and trajectory in three key creative sectors: music, literary, and community.
