Africa Rising Music Conference
Africa Rising Music Conference is a new kind of music conference taking place every year in May in Johannesburg, South Africa, and is on track to revolutionize the development of the African music industry, both within the continent and internationally.
The two-day conference aims to develop and create social cohesion and nation building, especially relating to international collaboration and communities at large, amplify female voices and untapped talent by showcasing them to a national and international audience, create new works and digital art forms between participating artists during the cross-continental studio sessions, and create knowledge exchange, capacity building, and skills development resulting in entrepreneurship for the development of an independent African cultural sector.
