Lina Burghausen

Lina Burghausen aka Mona Lina is a music business expert, journalist, promoter and curator. Having been part of Germany’s Hip Hop scene since her teenage years and working in the industry for more than a decade, she currently hosts Reeperbahn Festival’s music business podcast “Deep Dive”. Apart from that, she supports musicians with her Leipzig based agency www.mona-lina.de, offering both promotion and consulting since 2014. Focusing on hip hop and experimental pop music, she mainly works with independent artists and labels. Lina initiated the blog project “365 Fe*male* MCs” that turns the spotlight on the most exciting female rappers worldwide. For her blog she won an International Music Journalism Award. She also founded Europe’s first Fe*male Hip Hop label 365XX (2020-2025), worked for Germany’s biggest Rap festival splash! and curates Berlin’s biggest music conference Most Wanted: Music.
