Izzy and the Black Trees

Izabela Izzy Rekowska is the leading force behind the band Izzy and the Black Trees which she founded back in 2018. You can feel the aura of Patti Smith, Debbie Harry or PJ Harvey around Izzy’s songwriting and her musical deliverance. She is a songwriter, singer and also picks up the guitar while performing with the Black Trees. The latest album of the band, Revolution Comes In Waves, is full of socially and politically involved songs. Those punk and alt rock hymns can strongly resonate not only in their home country of Poland but all over the world.
