Svenska Musikerförbundet / Swedish Musicians Union

The Swedish Musicians Union was founded in 1907, and represents Swedish musicians, artists, songwriters, stagehands, and more. It includes all genres both in Sweden and the international music business.

The Musicians Union represents members by negotiating with all parts of the music industry, collectively and individually. The Union provides extensive legal and industry-related advice and assistance, for instance with contracts, payments, etc.

The Union also represents its members in political actions to improve labor laws regarding economic issues, gender equality, and health to protect and support their value in society.
