Friday Figures - 15 May

In today’s Friday Figures, we look a little closer to home. Across Keychange’s participating countries’ collecting societies, women represent 20% or less of registered composers and songwriters. Earnings for women and gender minorities are even lower as well as being under-represented in leadership roles across the industry and on stages at festival programmes. This is why such integral work must carry on, even more so during these precarious times to continue taking strides for gender equality.
